Sheikh Ali Al-Barrak is a Quran reciter, muezzin, and religious chanter from the city of Kairouan in Tunisia. He is considered one of the most prominent Quran reciters in Tunisia and the Maghreb region. He served as the reciter and muezzin at Sahib Ettabaâ Mosque in Halfaouine. Sheikh Ali Al-Barrak also had the honor of inaugurating the official Tunisian radio broadcast in 1938. His recitations according to the narration of Qalun from Nafi were later broadcast on Tunisian radio. Recordings of his voice are still broadcast on the national radio, especially during religious occasions such as the month of Ramadan.
