Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Matroud is a Quran reciter and imam of Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Mosque. He is known for his calm and humble recitation style and has been blessed with a beautiful voice. He also works as a teacher at a Quran memorization middle and high school in Riyadh. Earlier in his life, he was involved in singing, sports, and acting, even winning first place in gymnastics competitions in Riyadh and acting competitions in Jeddah. Later, a teacher named Falah bin Mubarak Al-Atari encouraged him to focus on Quran recitation instead of singing, which led him toward religious commitment and eventually becoming an imam.
